Oxfords - Not your school shoes anymore...

One of my favorite trends that was rampant this fall was the oxford. My how I love the oxfords! If you are like me and went to any sort of private school growing up, you hated these shoes. But not any more, there are so many different variations and they all so adorable. All I can hope is that they continue into the spring/summer with colored versions of this wonderful new trend. Maybe even some lace or prints, um yes please ;)

So cute with little socks!

Oxfords with heels and tights, oh yea!

Sienna Miller, bare legged and ready for the warm weather. Perfection.

Tri-colored, anyone?

My personal favorite, LOVE THESE!! I need some glitter in my life, don't you?

Hope you all have happy feet after seeing all these wonderful shoes! Happy Thursday ;)

Style File: Cali Cool

I'm pretty much an eclectic style type of person. I love all kinds of fashion, design and interiors. But I have to say the one that warms my heart the most is Cali's style . With its' laid back stylings you can almost feel the warm sun and cool breeze that Cali is known for.  It's more than just beach style tho, it's relaxed urban, it's layers, it's great accessories....it's Cali Cool.

And one of my fav bloggers with Cali cool style - Sincerely Jules - sophisticated but casually cool at it's best.

So put on some worn in jeans, a cool tee, maybe a sweater, some awesome accessories and embrace the Cali style in you!

Music Monday - Marc Broussard

Happy MLK Day all! I hope you got to enjoy the holiday and hopefully took a moment to remember why we celebrate Dr.  King. Today I want to feature the amazing Marc Broussard. I had the good fortune of getting to see him perform at the House of Blues in New Orleans this weekend for his 30th Birthday Bash! It was such an amazing show, I'm still reeling from the awesomeness! ;) Along with Marc, Baby Bee performed as well as a band called Ted and the Turkeys, which is made up of Marc's dad Ted Broussard, Joe and Dave from Baby Bee's dad Billy Stark, and a few others. They definitely set the tone for the night and it was rocking from the get go! It was really like being at a big happy family birthday party.
I've got a couple videos from the show below followed by a few of my fav Marc Broussard songs. Sorry for the poor quality of the show videos, they were shot with a phone :-/ but they're are better than nothing! So happy birthday to Marc and to Joe from Baby Bee, it was his birthday the day before Marc's, and enjoy!

With a Little Help From My Friends (Cover) - Ted & The Turkeys
Happy Birthday Bayou Bruce. This was so cool because Marc's dad Ted gave Marc the guitar his dad gave him as a birthday present.
Home - Marc Broussard
And now here are some of my fav songs!
The Wanderer - Marc Broussard
Save Me - Marc Broussard
Lonely Night in Georgia - Marc Broussard

Blog Crush: Atlantic-Pacific

Finally Friday!! And what better way to start the weekend than with some Atlantic-Pacific? I am majorly crushing on this blog and Blair who is fantastic! She has a style all her own which makes her one of my favorite fashion bloggers. She pushes the envelop while keeping it classy! And I am convinced that she started the bangles with the watch trend. I tried my best to pick out my favorites....it was sooo hard to only choose a few ;) The only that would make these better is if she was rockin' some Threadcase wears!

Happy Friday loves! Enjoy your weekend, I'm off the New Orleans......

Happy Happy Thursday!! One day closer to the weekend!! Here's a few of the DIY's on my list of things to try...I love them all, hope you will too :)

Over at P.S. I made this, Erica is always making the most amazing things! But this one caught my eye for sure. Love it!

I'm in love with this little thing...I want one!

In an effort to eat healthier and more organic this would be an amazing addition to my house!

I'm drooling over these jars full of goodness, made by The Girl with a Curl. Go to the link for the recipe. I can't wait to make these!

If you are anything like me you like to make little notes for yourself throughout the day. Ashley at The Creative Place shows you how you can make these super cute notebooks.

Hope you all enjoyed the DIY journey, make sure and let us know if you try any of our favorite DIYs. We'd love to see pics :)
