My Love Story

Expressing yourself can come in many different forms. Some express themselves through art or music. Some people just say exactly what they're thinking and feeling. I've always used fashion to express myself. I never just "buy clothes". I buy pieces that I feel will represent a part of me. I feel like when I buy clothes, I'm like a painter choosing precise colors for a painting. I need the perfect item to fit exactly what I'd like to portray. Recently, I've come across Threadcase's Love Story Dress.

It has made quite the impression on me. Frankly, I've fallen in love. When I put the dress on, I was perplexed. I didn't know how I felt. Did I feel retro? Did I feel new age? What exactly was I portraying here? I paired the dress with some adorable little cream-colored flats of mine that I also felt were in between modern and vintage and was perfectly satisfied. I was portraying a very Threadcase style! Vintage Wears Modern ;) I feel that this beautiful dress perfectly expresses what I'm craving lately-- old-style with a topping of modernity.
